In 2004 Samuel graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Pain Management where he received 650 hours of clinical and didactic training. He is a member of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists. Samuel maintains his standing within the profession by participating in 20-40 hours of continuing education per year
Samuel’s goal for his clients is to achieve a noticeable change in their pain within 3-7 properly scheduled visits. If after that there has been no noticeable improvement in the overall condition a person is referred to an appropriate health care provider for further testing/treatment. What makes him different is his commitment to identify the underling cause of the pain through extensive analysis of perpetuating factors. He strongly endorses the role of self care and teaches all clients techniques they can use to manage their own pain.
